At the RRC Meet on Wednesday at ADM, the Ballard 4x4 team of Kaitlyn Dunn, Alea Kinzenbaw, Honor Jorgensen, and Brooklyn Shoen ran a ⏱️ 4:06.54 to break a school record that had stood since 1988! 👏🔥

The 4x200 Meter Relay team of VanLoo, Conover, Dunn, and Shoen powered to a 3rd place finish at the SQM while breaking the SCHOOL RECORD with a time of 1:47.98!
A huge run on a big stage—now etched into Ballard track history. 💣🏃♀️

Brooklyn (15-16) =heptathlon, 400, 400 Hurdles, and 800
Chase (15-16) = long jump & 110 hurdles
Brooklyn Shoen (9th grader to be) had a weekend. Won the 15/16 hept. The next day PRed in the 400 hurdles. Meet had a schedule change 24hrs before and put 800 right after and still took 3rd. Qualified for Nationals in all 3. Mental and physical toughness oh my!
2 more Heptathlon AAU National Jr. Olympic Qualifiers and regional champs. Brooklyn Shoen wins the 15/16 age division in her 1st ever hept competition. Lena Bruening in her 2nd ever hept. Competition wins the 17/18 division.
