as i grew older, i learned that the key to surviving the day is not positivity. it's acceptance. accepting that not all days are good and happy. you will have bad days. you make mistakes. you fail. you mess up. everything’s not going to fall into place and that is completely okay
don't know who needs to hear this, but start living. the days are flying by, and all you do is work, pay bills, and stress. enjoy what you can - walks, sunsets, music, laughter and nature. joy doesn't have to be expensive. you deserve it.
We qualified for the World Cup for the first time after 52 years.
We drew against Portugal. We won our first game against Uzbekistan and literally went toe to toe against England.
We made history, and for that, I am so proud of my boys.
CONGO TO THE WORLD AND BACK 🇨🇩🇨🇩🇨🇩🇨🇩🇨🇩
HAPPY CONGO INDEPENDENCE DAY 🇨🇩❤️
June 30th we proudly celebrate 63 years of independence and honor the unbreakable spirit of our country
We especially remember Patrice Lumumba
his courage, his fight, and his ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
His dream lives on in every single one of us, from Kinshasa to the diaspora.
No matter where we are in the world, let’s carry that same fire in our hearts.
Let’s celebrate our rich culture, our resilience, and our beautiful Congo.
We’ve come through a lot, but we’re still standing strong. The best days of our country are still ahead.
Joyeux Jour de l’Indépendance mes frères et sœurs❤️
Vive la République Démocratique du Congo🇨🇩
BBC: “What was your screen time?”
Student: “Nine hours.”
BBC: “You’re gong to have a lot more time to fill. What will you do?”
Student: “Stare at a wall.”
People generally complain too much. Complain culture is rife. You need to be stretched to develop. Turn your head into a block of granite and plough through tough tasks that will result in improvement long-term. This is delayed gratification. Don’t complain.
