@stooiewalker I’d prefer Polvara sitting and then Clarkson and Adil further up the park. You need a defensive / athletic player at the base to allow the creative players to go and get on the ball further up the park. The defence needs protecting too, Clarkson not suitable in that role for me.

@DSimmie97 Same reason as why Goodwin didn’t work. Success was with a team with a smaller budget and punching above their weight. At Pittodrie he’d be having most teams sitting in a low block, just a different game altogether and it would be a complete risk as to whether he could adapt.
