@YankeeGunner I still can’t figure out the coach’s thinking. Playing Sorloth on the right wing doesn’t make much sense to me. He’s more of a good late-game option than a starter. He’s not the quickest and isn’t the strongest on the ball and I believe Bobb or Nusa are better for that position.

The coach was still testing players, and some of those young guys didn’t even play today. That’s how tournaments work — eventually the coach finds his best team.

@RefereeC21621 Here’s the issue with that logic: if Mendes was actually pulled down by the arm hook, the ref should’ve stopped the game immediately & awarded a free kick to PSG. Since he didn’t, it suggests he didn’t consider it a foul. So either he saw nothing wrong, or he missed a clear foul.
