Baseball alumni Nuri Todd ‘23 and Jack Meissner ‘24 helped the South Mountain Community College baseball team (44-16) defeat Chandler-Gilbert CC last week to win the Region I Division II Tournament Championship for the second-straight season.

BASEBALL / Junior Grady Openden was named to the AIA 6A Conference and Arizona Baseball Coaches Association all-state second teams. He tied for the team lead in wins with five and recorded the team-best 42 strikeouts over nine starts. He posted a 2.22 ERA in the regular season.
