A righteous man burns bright; his echo is louder than the assassin’s rifle and will forever be heard.
His message will live forever.
Rest in peace, Charlie Kirk. May God welcome you into His kingdom.
God bless.
"GOA says they are asking lawmakers to include a measure called the Short Act that would remove short-barreled rifles, shotguns and other weapons from the definition of firearms for the purposes of regulations under the National Firearms Act."
“The Short Act is important because of the Biden pistol brace ban. Biden weaponized the 1934 National Firearms Act tax law to ban up to 40 million short-barreled firearms,” GOA Director of Federal Affairs Aidan Johnston told The Washington Times. “We need to get rid of that law so it’s never weaponized for a national gun ban again.”
Regardless of political affiliation or the issue at hand, I think social media has made it inevitable that mass protests will devolve into riots. If you look at successful protests in the past—like the Civil Rights Movement—they were highly organized. People were trained on how to behave and united around a clear, specific goal.
Now, thanks to social media, anyone can hear about a protest, show up with zero understanding of its purpose, and start shouting about whatever random shit they’re upset about. That’s why in places like L.A., you’ll see people waving Palestinian, Ukrainian, Pride, and all kinds of other unrelated flags.
People treat protests as an excuse to flood the streets and vent their anger—about anything. And sure, that’s their right as Americans. But it turns the whole thing into chaos. It becomes incoherent, disorganized, and often devolves into crime and rioting.
