@TheAmolAvasare If this was indeed a comercial A/B test, I honestly don't know how it was even legal. Seems highly discriminatory from the stand point of the consumer, won't you think?
If I was on those unfortunate 2% I would be angry for sure, but I guess US customers have no rights, so....
Hey people, big day!
If you own $EGLD, you can now vote on the first blockchain economics model that was created and improved through a series of public forums.
Was an incredibly educational, highly productive, and actually fun process.
Onwards. Upwards.
The result of the last xExchange idea passed through governance is now live.
Claim your rewards now to be prepared for next week's hoard... I mean claim each week, but especially this one and the next one.
The xExchange Fees Collector upgrade is now live.
A powerful new mechanism to generate constant buy pressure for MEX, reduce gas costs, and reward active community members.
Get ready for a special one-time event. Over $100k in tokens will be used to buy MEX from the open market.
@LataretuClaudiu Take a fee on liquid staking, buy MEX with these fees, send this MEX to Fees Collector. Just make sure to keep something for coffee in the office as well.
It should be theoretically safer & easier to re-develop some contracts on MvX because of the intrinsic safety and lower effort. You still need to learn rust and some of the chain particularities, but this may tip the balance enough to make it attractive for high usage apps.
My initial thoughts on the new @MultiversX economics proposal. While I'm still digesting all the changes, one point immediately lit up my mind like a 🎄
The proposed 90% distribution of transaction fees directly to smart contracts as developer rewards. 🤯
I ran some quick numbers for @xExchangeApp. Our 748 smart contracts currently capture ~23-25 $EGLD per month in developer rewards.
With a 90% transaction fee distribution, this could jump to ~215 $EGLD per month.
For the $MEX token, this translates to ~1% monthly buying pressure based on today's liquidity from the largest pool.
Seeing the proposed changes to staking and validator incentives, opening an xExchange staking provider is also becoming a very attractive idea. 🤔
This approach would allow us to capture more value for the protocol and the $MEX token, while keeping the $EGLD value locked within the ecosystem.
Compounded flywheel for the entire ecosystem!

Can someone at @orangeromania help me fix this stuck emailer? It's spamming me every 10 minutes & support doesn't help. 200+ emails in a few hours.
Needless to say, I can't really add orange to my spam list.
@HatomProtocol
was the first to awesomely implement this feature in their booster, thus opening the door for every other developer that sees an opportunity to leverage this. This feature had a crazy history before, wonder if it would be nice to talk about it in a podcast or smth.
Along with @xExchangeApp's v3.3 release, all farm, staking and metastaking contracts now expose onBehalf features that third party services and protocols can implement to offer composable actions for users or handy tools like automatic & scheduled claims.

@xExchangeApp An example of what these new endpoints allow: a user can send its position to a 'custodian' that can claim on their behalf.
The position will continue to be boosted by user's energy and all claimed rewards onBehalf are sent directly to user(even though his position is elsewhere)
