Geothermal opportunities that are essentially pure-play
The latest: $FRVO May 13 IPO went well, with shares initially opening 33% higher than the IPO price, and rising another 15% since then.
Controlled Thermal Energy (CTR) is on deck, combining with SPAC #PLMK, whose shares have barely budged since the combination was announced on March 9. When the transaction is complete -- anticipated this fall -- the combined company is expected to list on the NASDAQ under ticker $CTRH. Closing is not guaranteed.
Shares in Ormat $ORA are up 86% over the price last year on this date.
Polaris Renewable Energy $RAMPF is the only other company I know of that's traded in the US, it's OTC. The shares are up a modest 8% since last year.
Disclosure: I own shares in all of these, except of course CTRH.
