Two brothers; long-time fans of Doctor Who, eagerly looking to discuss the Doctor Who universe - NuWho, Classic, Books, Big Finish - whatever tickles our fancy.
This has always been a weaker season opener in terms of story, but there's still charm to be had here. The CGI has aged poorly, the conclusion feels rushed, and the humor feels quite out of date, but still mostly harmless fun. - James

After another unexpected delay, we're back with Invasion of the Daleks, the first story of the Dalek Empire #BigFinish#DoctorWho spin-off.
Following Alby and Susan as they deal with a surprise Dalek invasion of Vega 6, this is a very promising opening.

Save a few laudable elements, both of us found 'The End of the War' a somewhat uninspired finale to what was arguably an uninspired show.
Is Kate the War Minister? Find out here.
Your thoughts on this one?

@WilliamWho27 As on-the-record Kerblam haters, I can't forgive or forget that story, nor the messages that it conveyed. His episodes of this miniseries are certainly better written than anything in RTD2 (well, close to anything, anyway), but I'd argue it hasn't earned him showrunner for DW yet
Our thoughts on episode three of #TheWarBetweenLandAndSea: a slower, more introspective episode, there were great character moments, and an explosive finale, though perhaps the ball was dropped in episode four. Stay tuned. - James

The second episode of this series had a lot more punch than the first, and the more political an episode, the more political the discussion. A very good episode we both enjoyed, check out our conversation. - James

Hard to get a great picture due to it being in a thin hallway, and unfortunately the books had to be pushed back or the thing would topple over, but besides those slight annoyances, it's nice to have them displayed in a much more proper place. - James

Realized that this had come out earlier this year and never picked it up, so remedied that.
Never going to be our favorite season, but it's nice to have anyway.
Also picked up a proper bookshelf for our Doctor Who books, will post pictures soonish.- James

The first episode, "Homo Aqua", got off to a slightly slow start in our opinions, but was still not at all a bad one, and it's nice to meet Barclay and see the UNIT crew again, mostly Kate.
Too long of a title tho - James

@DWUDatabase Well, he did write 'Kerblam', and I can't forget that. Plus, just as a way to write a story, they can't have it be as one-sided as it (to me) so obviously seems right now. I'm not sure what exactly they have planned (maybe a warmonger on the Homo Aqua side). Still, good so far.
@BarbaraYetaxa Yep, we can debate if the desire to control all air over oceans goes too far, but maximalist opening volleys for agreements and all that. So far, two episodes in, easily siding 95% with Homo Aqua and their public demands, declarations, and actions.
@DWUDatabase Terminus was fun, certainly not bad, but Ghost Light will never be done again, and is inheirently fascinating in ways most of Classic (and New) Who isn't. Easy choice here.
The less said about TLoRS, the better; it got me hopeful, then the second part was garbage.
Millions of Homo Aqua are dying due to pollution while the governments are conspiring with private businesses to keep the rich rich. Am I suppose to care that humans get a taste of what they caused to the Sea Devils? Frankly, I don't.- James

Watched the first two episodes of TWBtLatS today, two recordings done we'll work on getting out this week. Unsurprisingly, considering our politics, we're completely in agreement with Homo Aqua as it were. Quite enjoy Barclay's character, wish he was openly Marxist tho. - James
@beeeeeeaan She would have been so much more interesting as anyone but the Rani. I never liked the decision, and it doesn't fit in at all with her comments in '73 Yards' and the 'Empire of Death' two-parter.
Dobson was fun in the show, but RTD2 didn't really plan as I'd hoped he would have.
Two years before the Sontarans came back in The Sontaran Stratagem/The Poison Sky, they met the Tenth Doctor and Rose in the Tenth Doctor's first comic story for Doctor Who Magazine, "The Betrothal of Sontar"
Hope all are well.

We will need time to create and collect those all again, and whoever suggested that change for ClipChamp is welcome to go fuck themselves. We were planning on releasing another discussion before talking about the new show, but that won't be happening now. Not happy. - James (3/3)
We, in the past, have used ClipChamp to make our videos, as it was free and intuitive. However, with the garbage change requiring use of OneDrive, we will be moving to another service, and will need to take time to learn it. Due to this, expect our discussions about TWBTLAS (1/3)
to have no real video component. Furthermore, due to not understanding OneDrive and how it works, I accidently deleted all the pictures we acquired and used in making our videos for YouTube. I thought I was deleting copies and was trying to clear space, but no, seems not. (2/3)
