My friend is terminal, I was so hoping to see her Wednesday.
I'm in essex she is in Somerset.
If I do not go, I know I will not see her again.

The reason hospital occupancy has passed the April peak is because April is in spring. That’s not respiratory virus season.
A better comparison would be with last December. But that would look much less scary so... no.
