Star Trek art, or any fan art: is always a dialogue between precision and passion. I aim for about 80% canon accuracy, because that last 20% tends to spiral into purity tests and microscopic debates that only a handful of die-hards will ever notice.

I’d rather tell a story honestly than chase an illusion of a “perfect Trek”. The truth is, you could spend a lifetime refining every hull plate, registry font and beta canon fluff - and perish of old age before the perfect version ever exists.

Life is short yes, but choose to live as well.
