A fantastic day at Eaton Hall.
It’s great to meet so many enthusiastic people face to face and share our passion for the conservation work we do as a group. Thank you to everyone that came to visit our stand on Sunday at Eaton Hall for a chat, we hope you had a great time!
@UtkintonBlueCFC @Grosvenor Hi Jason! There are many groups over the Cheshire area so I'm sure we can organise for boxes to be erected in Utkinton and Cotebrook if they aren't already. Could you DM us we can discuss in more detail?
A conservation programme on the Eaton Estate with @BroxtonBOGroup, aiming to increase numbers of the birds of prey across west #Cheshire, has seen 10 new boxes erected in 2021 & 2022. Learn more about wildlife conservation across our rural estates at https://t.co/YSOO6djLS3
Busy times for our field operatives as we start to check our boxes in June and begin ringing. Our ringers take biometric data and put rings on new birds which feed into the national database!

Remember that box of chicks we had a few weeks ago. Well this week we've been out to ring them. All healthy between 380-420g!! #springwatch#barnowl@_BTO
Had a successful day out with our neighbours at the Mid-Cheshire Barn Owl Group, ringing some tawny owl chicks! 3 in total, all healthy and branching 🦉
Another new barn owl box in the Broxton area today. A brilliant location where the land owners are wildlife conscious and trying to partially rewild. Great effort from the team!
