@Trashimari Apparently stairs are like a huge kryptonite to gamedev as a whole. There's a saying I heard one time that goes something like "you either spend months perfecting the character's stair climbing animation, or you put in an elevator"

I never had a problem with Spike's fondness for Rarity but what makes this whole thing more weird was that he didn't really have any kind of unique reaction to meeting her in the first episode like he did with Fluttershy. It was only until episode 6 did he start that stuff
