I'm proud to be endorsed by former Cincinnati Police Chief, James Craig. Chief Craig was the first African American police chief in Cincinnati's history, and I had the great opportunity to serve with him from 2011 to 2013.
I want to say THANK YOU to my family, friends, supporters, and all the men and women in uniform for their support throughout this campaign. The Hoffbauer family has a long tradition of service to Hamilton County that I hope to continue as your next sheriff!
Tune into WKRC tonight at 10 and 11 to watch my interview with @BUnderwoodWKRC where we discuss the campaign as it comes down the home stretch. Tune in!
The choice is clear - do you want disorder and chaos? Or do you want safety and security? Your vote tomorrow will determine our future.

Do you want a sheriff like Charmaine McGuffey who has been arrested, held in contempt of court, put on the Brady List for dishonesty, fired for 31 counts of creating a hostile work environment, & wouldn’t qualify to be a police recruit in Cincinnati if she were to apply today?
Or do you want a sheriff like Bruce Hoffbauer, who has 34 years of law enforcement experience, served in all 52 of Cincinnati’s neighborhoods, served as the Commander of the Cincinnati Police Academy, and is dedicated to keeping our neighborhoods and families safe and secure?
We’re 48 hours away from the polls closing on Election Day. Every vote is going to matter in our race. I ask that you take the time to reach out to your friends, your family, and your neighbors to let them know how important it is that we elect the right sheriff.
With so many of our kids and grandkids going out tonight to trick-or-treat, ask yourself this question...who do you trust to keep the ones we love safe - Bruce Hoffbauer or Charmaine McGuffey?
I will work every day to keep our families safe and secure.
It was great to be at The Farm yesterday for one last rally before Election Day. The west side is ready to get out and vote for a Sheriff that is dedicated to providing safety and security for our families!
This is really sad. This race is about safety and security, not politics. Unfortunately, she has nothing to offer but partisan politics. We can’t afford someone that will inject politics into the Sheriff’s office. Our men and women in uniform and our families deserve better.
We all have differences in opinion, but that should never be an excuse to destroy property. Last week someone burned one of our signs in Millvale. This is the kind of lawlessness and chaos that I will not stand for as Sheriff.

Last week someone burned one of our yard signs in Millvale...burned it. This is the kind of chaos and destruction supporters of my opponent want to see in Hamilton County. I’ll never be intimidated by nasty tactics like this.
Charmaine McGuffey's record? Arrested. On a list of dishonest cops. Punched an African American employee. And wouldn't even qualify to be a Cincinnati police recruit if she applied today.
We can't afford a sheriff like that.
My dad has always been a big inspiration and role model for me. Here he is in 1960 where he served as the first constable of Delhi Township. Commitment to law enforcement runs deep in the Hoffbauer family!
I’m deeply saddened by the loss of Corporal McMillan. He served our community with honor and passion. I’m praying for his family and fellow men and women in uniform tonight as we grieve this huge loss.
