My name is Bruce Martin. I’m a farm equipment businessman, an Air Force veteran, a farmer, and a husband, father, and grandfather. I’m running for the State House this election to represent our part of Arkansas – because we’re losing our seat at the table, and we can do better.
It's humbling to see "Bruce Martin" on my ballot. For over 30 years, I've served the historic Delta and our great people. I cannot wait to head to Little Rock as our next State Representative. Our soil is rich, and our potential is vast. Vote before 7:30pm today! #ElectionDay
Frankly, this tends to affect people who are poorer and older. I want to make voting easier for these people, while also maintaining integrity in our voting system. Both can be done, and we can have a state where people can freely and efficiently cast their votes.
In rural Arkansas, it’s become more difficult for some people to vote. Folks have to drive 30 to 40 minutes just to get to their polling location. There have been laws and measures taken to restrict voting access and reduce the number of polling places. It’s shameful.
We can’t have resilient and successful communities without a strong workforce and a strong local education system.
As your Representative, I’ll ensure our district gets every dollar it deserves for our students, our public schools, and our workforce training programs.
The needs in this part of Arkansas are great but our people and our resolve are even greater. I know we can put the focus back on what really matters in the Delta. It’s about having the willpower to get something done and the fortitude to stand up to special interests.
The funding and the Arkansas Legislature's focus are not adequately directed anymore. It’s going to just a handful of counties – and none of them are in our part of Arkansas. The Delta has written so much of the nation's history, and we deserve better.
The differences between my opponent and me are stark. I will prioritize rural healthcare, including doctors and specialists, pharmacies and clinics, and school nurses. His party bosses in Little Rock don’t support these issues – and neither will he.
This race is pivotal for Arkansas. Republicans in the state legislature have left the Delta out to dry – providing no support for our family farms, our rural communities, or our children in school. When we win, we will show how Democrats can win in “Red America.” Join me.
I spent a few years in the Air Force and running our family farm, then a few decades raising a family with my wife Janette in Stuttgart. This is my home and what matters to me. I have served the Delta for nearly 30 years, and I’m asking for your support for State Representative.
We all know how good it feels when our interests are being listened to at the state Capitol by someone who understands basic things like the price of soybeans. That man is not Jeremiah Moore. He has not earned your vote for State Representative, and he will be more of the same.
We have enormous potential under our feet here in the Delta, but we’re seeing a tension with our state’s resources going to places like Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas and elsewhere. It’s time to bring that focus back home to places like Stuttgart, DeWitt, and Brinkley.
Having the support of former Governor Mike Beebe means the world to me. He lived out the values we all hold dear in the Delta. He’s a true treasure and one of the best Arkansas has produced. I’m humbled he’s on #TeamBruce.
We all need to have some level of confidence that the person we send to Little Rock, to represent our part of Arkansas, knows this place and is ready to go to bat for it. Tomorrow, as we head to the polls, I am asking for your support for State Representative.
I’m the past president of the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce – I have years of experience building a vibrant economy, one where people feel like they can start and raise a family and not have to move anywhere else. We can have a bright future, but we need real leaders.
I spent 32 years in the farm equipment business, where I got a chance to sell some great machinery to some of the great farmers in our part of Arkansas. I know firsthand what the Delta needs from our elected officials – and I will deliver in the State House.
Right now, rural Arkansas is on the brink in too many places. Inflation is high, farms are struggling, and communities are being hollowed out. It’s time to change who we send to Little Rock to represent us here in the Delta.
Our teachers in rural Arkansas are paid worse than Mississippi, Tennessee, Texas, and Missouri. We have $1.6 billion in surplus - this year alone. How about we actually invest in the professionals that educate and care for our kids. Let’s raise their salaries out of the basement.
As your State Representative, I’ll focus on what matters – that means doubling down on support for:
🚜 Agriculture, especially family farms
🏭 Small businesses and new industry
🛣️ Roads, bridges, and irrigation projects that we’ve put on hold for too long
Rural Arkansas is the backbone of this state and ought to have a seat at the table down at the state Capitol. Instead, we’ve gone from being ignored to being allowed to fall into outright neglect and disrepair in too many parts of this district. That changes this November.
