Alex Pretti's father: Our son was shot and killed by the government, federal immigration agents, on January 24th, 2026. We learned about his death from the media as we saw him being shot repeatedly in the back after helping a woman from his community. This was not a protest that Alex was at. His hands were in the air, and his face was on the ground when he was executed by ICE agents. We know exactly what our eyes saw. No one from the federal government called us on that day. But they did go on TV to tell lies about Alex. No one has called us since. No one has recanted those lies.
I don’t think I ever believed I’d see a newspaper paragraph like this: President Trump ‘said he would welcome immigrants from Denmark but not from Norway “because I didn’t get the Nobel Prize, so I don’t want anybody from Norway”.’

There have been changes in Serbia – a victory of the Student List @studentblokade. And this is clearly a new chapter in the history of the country and its people. We wish Serbia success, real development, and warm relations with the European community. We in Ukraine thank Serbia for respecting our people, our state, and our independence. And we always celebrate our shared achievements – everything that strengthens our societies and gives people more opportunities. We are ready to continue expanding our cooperation, and may all the good hopes of the people of Serbia come true!
Andy Beshear: I've got soybean farmers. 100% of them voted for Trump. They lost their first client in USAID. Linda McMahon canceled the farm-to-cafeteria program. Trump's tariff pushed China away. All of your farm machinery runs on diesel. And finally, a third of the world's fertilizer passes through the Strait of Hormuz. They are on the verge of declaring bankruptcy.
Being Ukrainian and hearing US envoy Witkoff actually calling Putin ‘humanitarian’ (?!) while he bombs my people is disturbing on a new level of disturbing I didn’t know it could reach .
“We are taking our country back.
Not with anger. Not with fear, not with division. But with the hope that built this state.”

One of the most powerful ads I’ve ever seen, with the added value of being true.
In 1994, Ukraine gave up the world’s third-largest nuclear arsenal on America’s word.
This month, the president traded that word for a diesel deal with Putin.
Watch what he does for Putin. It shows what he wants to do with his power over you. 👇🏼 https://t.co/qdyErh6xyf
@Scaramucci Sorry, but the ‘Scaramucci’ remains the certified unit of measure for duration in politics - so @KatyKay survived 0.5 Scaramuccis - it stands to reason 👍🏼
I thank @GiorgiaMeloni for the support and a clear, unequivocal, principled stance. Thank you for understanding who the aggressor is and what it means to build a dignified and lasting peace. This is possible only through strength and joint efforts for our security.
Zelensky: It's a pity that we are losing a strong partner.
Morgan: You think you're losing America?
Zelensky: Yeah, but not because of us. We can’t be weak. Otherwise, we can’t survive… This is why it’s painful when Trump chooses to be on Russia’s side. This is not the right side of history.
Reform's policy of blaming illegal migration for everything, and claiming that dealing with it will fix everything is ripped apart beautifully, in just 1 minute.
It's the same scam Hitler and Mussolini were selling 100 years ago.
This guy utterly dismantles the populist politics of Reform and Restore in 90 seconds. It’s actually quite beautiful.
Take decades of deep-rooted problems in Britain and convince people that a relatively tiny proportion of the population is responsible for all of them. Housing, the NHS, crime. Blame illegal migrants for everything.
Suddenly, you don’t need credible solutions to the housing crisis, NHS waiting lists or crime. You just need increasingly extreme policies on immigration.
And by the time people realise you never had meaningful answers to the vast majority of Britain’s problems, you’re already in power, handing out tax cuts to your donors.
No self-respecting Texan, no real Texan who embraced the history of this great land, from Goliad, the Alamo, to San Jacinto and the final fight for liberty and independence — a fight I may add that required support from real men from seven different countries besides the United States — no real Texan would abandon the Ukrainians in their fight for freedom.
No real Texan would excuse Trump’s perfidy.
May God Bless President Zelenskyy @ZelenskyyUa and the people of Ukraine.
❗️I want to sincerely thank the people of Great Britain for everything you have done for Ukraine.
Even before the full-scale invasion began, Britain was among the first to provide us with NLAW anti-tank systems — weapons that helped stop Russian columns on the approaches to Kyiv and in other directions.
This support only grew afterward: thousands of NLAWs, Challenger 2 tanks (Britain became the first Western country to transfer main battle tanks to Ukraine), Storm Shadow cruise missiles, and other equipment.
I would especially like to highlight the large-scale training of Ukrainian soldiers. Through Operation Interflex, more than 60,000 of our troops have already received training on British soil — from basic training for recruits to courses for commanders and instructors. This is one of the largest programmes of its kind since the Second World War.
Great Britain continues to provide significant military, financial, and humanitarian assistance, and this means a great deal to us. Thank you, Britain.

Peace never comes through weakness. Today, representatives of the U.S. Congress were in Kyiv – a bipartisan delegation – and I am grateful to them for visiting Ukraine at such a difficult time. They asked: what is needed to end the war? The answer must be strong. There must be sanctions under the Lindsey Graham bill, there must be support for Ukraine in protecting lives, and there must be pressure on Russia for its war. And today, there was a conversation between the leaders of America and Russia. A conversation that leads to something different.
Recently, there was a European decision to lift sanctions on Russian oligarchs. Since then, Russian strikes and the torment of people have only increased. This past week alone, there was a brutal Russian missile strike on a residential building in Pryluky, aerial bombs were dropped on Kramatorsk – on ordinary city buses – and there have been constant attacks on Kyiv’s energy infrastructure and on the life-sustaining infrastructure in Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa, and our other cities. Dozens of people have been killed and hundreds wounded.
The Russians are compensating for their inability to achieve their objectives on the battlefield with this kind of terror. This year, Russia is weaker on the battlefield than at any other point in the war. That is why Putin is relying on terror. That is why he is relying on attempts to strike backroom deals to secure some form of pressure relief for Russia, in order to buy more time and more opportunities for war.
Any easing of sanctions against Russia without a clear and lasting de-escalation agreement with Russia is an obvious weakness. It plays into Russia’s hands – allowing it to kill more, wage war for longer, have even less respect for America, and inflict even greater losses and damage on the world.
Ukraine is ready to take symmetrical de-escalatory steps, and the American team knows our position. Our strikes on Russian oil refineries and other oil facilities are a response to Russia’s years-long campaign of terror against Ukraine’s energy sector. Ukraine will not set Russian oil refineries on fire if Russia does not destroy our energy infrastructure. This is the kind of agreement we are proposing to America, and we believe the United States has enough power to achieve such a compromise.
Gifts to Putin will not bring peace or any benefit to the civilized world. Russia will “repay” the diesel with further terror and perfidy. Allowing Russia to sell petroleum products is an investment in a war that must be ended, not prolonged. What is needed is real de-escalation with Russia on a reciprocal basis.
We count on America’s fair support for our defense of life, for our defense of people in Ukraine – and on the United States having a correspondingly strong conversation with Russia. A strong one, not a weak one.
Freedom of Movement is not a “youth” issue.
It matters when you’re 20, 40, 60 or 80.
Study. Work. Business. Family. Retirement.
The freedom to build a life across Europe should not come with an arbitrary age cut-off.
