He hired himself, as President of Hockey Ops. Craig MacTavish was reassigned as GM. He and Chiarelli supposedly worked together.

That event paralysed future management. The Oilers are dysfunctional, at the Hockey Ops level. The owner is responsible.

The owner is responsible for the organisational dysfunction. He hired all the executives, in the McDavid era. Peter Chiarelli hired, through the organisational audit. Bob Nicholson was contracted, via Kevin Lowe to do it. Nicholson fired Pat LaForge.

@ExnerPirot Suggest you learn about CBAM! The EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism. It's in place now, Embedded carbon in imports is tax on arrival. Imports from countries with a CT get credits. Best to keep the cash at home rather than give it the EU!
