Social media is so instrumental in a person’s success or demise. When you attach your personal life to it I think that’s when things become destructive
Who remembers @OfficialTamera from the Xfactor? Well her new single ‘Flipside’ is a real vibe and is IK’s track of the week. And as always she went in on the vocals👌
Never forget the Grammys didn’t give me my best new artist award when I had 7 songs simultaneously charting on billboard & bigger first week than any female rapper in the last decade- went on to inspire a generation. They gave it to the white man Bon Iver. #PinkFriday
The same way the #grammys placed #justinbieber in pop categories is the same way they didn’t put old town road #lilnasx in the country category initially until #billyraycyrus jumped on the track. Should artist be able to determine what genre of music their songs go into or not?

I think @abznoproblem17 has successfully secured a drill hat trick with his songs On Deck, Spin this Coupe and Show Me. Respectfully drill artist of the year goes to him 🏆
Put it this way IMO if your music isn’t getting played as background music in countries like Dubai Miami LA at the hotel lobbies or at the poolside um yeah it’s just about trying harder
A lot of rappers think because a couple of their songs have “blown” and they’ve worked with a few international artists that they’re music is actually good... sticky
A lot of them fail to see that they’re music isn’t even reaching a national level, it’s only reaching your borough. And maybe a couple people who check for them abroad because they’re fans so will actively do so. But apart from that...
The only thing with Meg is her technical skill doesn’t translate onto her singles as much as it should or could. Maybe because she’s chosen to go down the ‘bum boobs and sex’ route as her brand rather than keeping it gangster. But that’s what sells so can you blame her... (3/3)
If we’re assessing whether a rapper is good or not we have to see how they perform under pressure. By under pressure we’re talking freestyling - no pre written bars, slap on any type of beat, with an audience of 2+ (1/3)
So when @LickshotLippy says gasseduplighties are better than Meg... that’s an insult to Meg. Meg has shown her ability skill and talent through her freestyles. We have never seen gasseduplighties spaz on a beat and freestyle (2/3)
