@AdamMancini4@bryce_schilling Do u ideally want to see extensive basing well above the FBD like did for hours @30, followed by a quick dip into retest/sweep of 18? Rather than if we faded ovn. from 30 back to 18 & were just fizzling around 18, more likely for a breakdown to occur and better to wait for lower?
@AdamMancini4@Pete66668332642@Stuey123263845 so Double Dip FBD’s inherently higher risk than initial sweep within the same session? Does that change if it’s in the next session-day when it’s a clean slate and not in profit protection? Thanks
@AdamMancini4@KnightTrader999@sol44592642 Entry ~24 for NAP, seemed 50/50 buying into that structure, but is this just where need to read the speed of the action? And follow along with the decent pickup ~12:07pm. Difficult to discern the momentum & speed in lower vol. to not end up trapped
@AdamMancini4@KnightTrader999@sol44592642 So if it’s a high quality prior day low you’re fine buying into the above recent 25-30 shelf without waiting for it to clear? Sometimes you place more weight on the just above shelves vs the actual low.
@AdamMancini4 The inverse edge is real when you take these at the wrong time thinking vol came in. Almost every time to a T when vol drops off at the high & it stalls, get the eventual deep flush just beneath the lows to take stops and right back up.
@AdamMancini4 & the difference between being a top picker with poor RR. Better to get in higher to guarentee a win, but often just end getting trapped a exact short-term high.
@AdamMancini4@PartiotSmith I feel like I take this too literally sometimes. I’ll see price at/above +5pts, wait the 3mins, but if price dips back into the DZ around 3min mark I feel like I should wait longer. It often holds the low, pops back up & I get conflicted feeling like I might be rushing.
@AdamMancini4@bryce_schilling In these cases do you apply NAP to 37 or 35? Was interesting to see you applied NAP to the 92 shelf yesterday and not the 82 low
@AdamMancini4 Did you consider 77 more of a pullback leg rather than where the move ignited from? Or just because better to be in from lower since 77 would call for 17+pt stop?
@AdamMancini4 No wrong way and both worked, but when do you decide to enter from lower (69, Yest. 3am Low) v. letting the 75-77 recent shelf clear just above? Does it vary by scenario based on the structures/levels u find hold more weight at the time?
@AdamMancini4@Stockgod202377 Do you find the big Macro lows like this often take a few FBD attempts before resolving? Especially when it’s a deep flush?
@AdamMancini4@AnotherX2802@poker848768148 When playing at/around the reclaim level after completing acceptance, are you typically instantly entering at/just above the level or still waiting ~1min or so,making sure it wants to be above? Thought acceptance complete by 11:52am, but was out in front a bit. 12:44 much cleaner
@AdamMancini4@50 Momentum looked good to get to 62, but mismanaged by not reacting in the 2mins I had to trim some to limit my loss, now tapped out 2 L’s for the day. The next setup always works, but I’m always in DD and then stuck watching, can’t seem to not get out in front too early.
@AdamMancini4 Always losing on these days where we only bounce a level and fail. Took 11:53 entry @51, after acceptance since 11:37, trapped. Took 12:06 entry @50 again after dip to 6736(further acceptance). Hit 56 1st up, was looking for ~60 since 15pt stop, didnt react fast enough to take +6
@AdamMancini4@samcoleman069@BoydSpecter And we just need to see that push through with momo as we wouldnt have returned to 93 if there was sufficient supply?
@AdamMancini4@samcoleman069@BoydSpecter So when we have acceptance prior, then flush out those lows to 73, return 93, you can long above ~94, even when it ends up in (deep) territory on the flush and we have ~20pts green behind? Is it ideal to see further acceptance after the 2nd return to 93 or not necessary?
@AdamMancini4@jpmanx03 So just have to buy at 2:43pm ~56 and hope that the push through 55 isnt going to be a trap? And it’s likely not to be since we completed acceptance by 2:39pm?
Waited for it patiently but the 22pt 5min spike threw me off and felt too late by the time ripped to 60’s
@AdamMancini4@comptofreedom@CorlukaDejan Is 6653 stronger now that we’re selling into it from 50pts higher, or is it still likely to cave since it’s been bounced so much already? Does it differ when bears control?
