Lectures promoting gender critical views are simply not acceptable and the students have spoken with their feet. Now the University leadership should review the position of this associate professor to see if his lectures fit the syllabus.

@PhilipHensher One person interrupted one lecture as far as I can see, after which Mr Foran continued & completed his talk. After this, the second very poorly attended lecture in a series of four, he cancelled the remaining two lectures. There seems to be a huge amount of drama about his flop.

The fact is he's cancelling because barely anyone went. We've all seen the footage.

There's nothing to stand in solidarity with that loser for, he's just making up excuses for why his lectures are unpopular

We actually tried a couple of episodes where House (Hugh Laurie) (please put the brackets in the right place) gets it right first time, but they were only 6 minutes long. NBC weren’t happy. Then we tried some where House never gets it right and the patient dies. The audience wasn’t happy.

One could apply your trenchant analysis to other art forms: JS Bach wrote 30 Goldberg variations on the same chord structure; Frida Kahlo painted 50 portraits of herself; Henry Moore, what??

The point is, or was, variations on a theme; if all you see is hospital, medical blah blah, then it wasn’t meant for you.

Nonetheless, I look forward to your first novel!

Trying to track down the protests against creepy anti trans academic Michael Foran & all I could find was these two people in a clip on The Telegraph. What was very noticeable is that the audience was very sparse.
I think that might be the real reason he’s cancelled his talks.

Goodness. While anti-trans activist Michael Foran seems to be begging for an "I've been canceled" publicity injection, his ally Julie Bindel has accidentally revealed that the protest seemingly consisted of two people - and that barely anyone turned up to see Foran anyway.
