Mario Kart World is $79.99 because Nintendo management believes they can get away with that.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is going to pass 70 million units sold this year.

Mario kart World looks amazing. A lot a cool mechanics, graphics looks beautiful, and the new move set like jumping and grinding look like a fun addition.

With all that said, there is absolutely NOTHING about this game justifying the $80 price tag. N O T H I N G.

Mario Kart World looks amazing but nothing in that Direct tells me it is worth a bump up to $80!

I don't know why they waited an extra 2 weeks to show it as there wasn't that much new or amazing things to show. Looks very fun but I was expecting more after the long wait tbh.
