@mcgraw513@SadOSUhoopsFan I feel like there hasn’t been a “Braxton Miller” in CFB since he left. That Michael Vick archetype. Unless I’m just forgetting.
@jdpickell To be fair, we all heard the rumblings that OleMiss/Florida/Mizzou could all just be a big “7 ate 9” scenario. I’m not completely shocked, although was not necessarily expecting this result.
@thezone6media@TheHoody27 I’m going to go out on a limb and insinuate that you hop between being a “bottom line” guy and a “context” guy, whenever it’s convenient. I stick with the context. Those drops were incredibly lucky for the Bucks in the stats department.
@thezone6media@TheHoody27 And that “195 yards” against Texas would have been far worse had their receivers not dropped the ball. They were wide open all night.
@thezone6media@TheHoody27 We don’t know yet. However, I’d reckon that Indiana’s defense is pretty damn good this year, again. The point was that Northwestern does appear to be able to pass the ball. They simply didn’t need to when they’re getting 7yds/carry. If it’s working, keep doing it.
@eabra48463@hawkeyeheritage@goblue_guru This is irrelevant, and is nothing more than an unnecessary counterfactual. As such, this tweet will be disregarded.
@eabra48463@hawkeyeheritage@goblue_guru The NCAA confirmed via their statement (released on 9/16) that the replay protocols were not followed and that, had they been, the outcome would have been different. That’s not ‘gobblygook’—that’s the NCAA itself acknowledging a procedural failure materially affected the result.
