I’ve now realized that the Pistons winning 60 games was the worst thing they coulda done because now everyone’s ability to evaluate where the team is at in roster building and development has been absolutely nuked
I’m convinced if they won 51 games, and the playoffs played out exact same way, everyone would be on here throwing confetti in the air
The Pistons are firing on all cylinders! 🔥

@_CTwo_@JonHeyman Genuinely asking: how does an overly optimistic time table help Boras? Not like anyone is trying to sign him to a deal in the next week
Love that Trey is the guy to slap it on. Didn’t quite get the PT he was hoping for this year. Never soured. Never pouted. Had spots where he turned into a flame thrower and is starting to get rewarded with some run. It’s a beautiful thing.
You gain nothing by shaming people who admit they were wrong in 2024 and are now speaking out. The only way out of this mess is to bring people back to common sense and reality. We need more who are willing to say they were wrong—and we have to make it easier for them to do that, because a lot of Americans are angry and deeply uncomfortable with where things are headed.
Lions had three timeouts there to end the half. Didn’t use a single one.
I gave to wonder if that lack of clock management is a direct result of MCDC calling plays. Maybe preoccupies him to where he couldn’t call a timeout? 😳
Few thoughts on the Packers-Micah Parsons trade:
1. I already had concerns for the Packers to be able to stop the run up the middle prior to losing Kenny Clark after losing TJ Slaton. Not sure Devonte Wyatt, Karl Brooks, Colby Wooten, Nazir Stakehouse, Warren Brinson is the answer.
2. Still prefer Parsons wasn’t traded to a Lions division rival. Feels like Khalil Mack→CHI, Jared Allen→MIN, Julius Peppers→CHI.
3. Cowboys ownership is incompetent. Wild that VP of Player Personnel Will McClay puts up with them mucking up his drafts.
4. Packers had a bunch of B+/B– players. Now they have a Superstar. I’ll still take the roster Brad Holmes & Dan Campbell built.
