Drama early this morning as a crowd from Kamukunji and Starehe sub-counties was chased away by military police outside State House, Nairobi.

The group claims they were mobilized yesterday to attend a meeting at State House, where they were allegedly promised a KSh 10,000 token each after submitting their names, ID numbers, and phone numbers.

Upon arriving at the gate at dawn, they were turned away by security forces who informed them that no such meeting was scheduled.

Out of respect for the institutions, the Federation, and all the people involved, I have so far chosen to remain silent. However, I believe it is necessary to clarify a few points.
