Hey guys can you help me with next weekend's sermon. Be honest. I'm going to be next weekend...but also be short (I'll try to that too :)
Who or what in the world right now seems so powerful that if feels like it's inescapable...like its in charge of your life?
Watch my brief but meaningful interview about Lonesome Dove Ranch and our work with hurting children today on The Green Room program on Daystar at 5:30PM CTS. @TGRdaystar
Second part of my convo with @edstetzer This one focuses on our efforts to engage the orphan and mend the broken hearts of children at https://t.co/IG2TGKwMaB
Getting this arena ready for church! On Sunday the Curtis Culwell Center becomes a Northplace Worship Center. All services combined into one history-making, destiny-shaping moment at 10:30 AM. In 1921, a prayer gathering launched a church. Sunday we launch a movement! Finish it!
@BryanJarrett How about this version of Father Abraham from my Alma-mater Bethel College (KS) Threshers football team. This song is sung after every victory by the players and coaches. #EternalLegacy#FatherAbraham https://t.co/oWLzFNFccp
As a Christian, I’ve heard it all from nonbelievers…
“You just believe what your parents told you.”
“You must not know any science.”
“Your faith hasn't been tested.”
Well…
I was raised atheist.
I have a PhD in science.
I’ve lost a child and had cancer.
I’m still a believer.
After almost two weeks in Asia this sunrise over Lonesome Dove Ranch is more beautiful than ever. Thank you Lord for this place and what it means to so many. It’s good to be home. #wherehealinghappens#texassunrise
An incredible day spent with some incredibly genuine people. Thank you Willie, Phil, Jase, Si, Martin, John-David, and the entire Duck Commander team for hosting the Jarretts and the Chambers so well.
On a more serious note, this weekend’s message may be the clearest picture of the heart of Christianity that I could ever paint. From seeker, to doubter, to mature believer...get to the Lord’s house this weekend!
Hey everybody...don’t say anything to any Northplace folks who go to Sunday services about the time change tonight. This is the one shot some of them have of being at church before it’s half over 😂
You Saturday nighters are the smartest. Time change weekends never impact you.
OKC friends come be in service with Haley and I this Friday (7PM) for special revival services at North Church.
