So 400,000 lost jobs from local government, all that lost tax, extra benefit payments, lost pension contributions, and lost revenue spent in the economy. That will never happen due to the way pension schemes operate. There are ways to ensure the funds are used effectively but it is a lie to say you can save 20% on council taxes.

But they fail to look at the damaging impact of their proposals or the impracticability of delivering it. Dwindling funds, loss of investment and harder recruitment into relatively lower paid jobs.
