Quite surprised at the amount of poo being sprayed in my direction for saying climate change is an emergency. I thought we'd all moved on from denying it now, but apparently not.
Guess whose financially liable for this disastrous project?
You are!
The Australian Government agreed to make Australian taxpayers liable because no insurance company would ever insure it.

@RonniSalt Don't be concerned and just remember that at least half the population with an IQ less than 100 have access to a smartphone and are able to log in to twitter/Facebook/etc
Typical #queensland@TMRQld website not keeping up with policy
Treasurer announces $35 license from 1 July 2023.
Renewal today is...
So either the website is out of date or the @QLDLabor policy is window dressing the physical card replacement fee, not the renewal?
You know what would be a whole lot quicker, and easier for a state government to introduce @CarExpertcomau? Amendments that made it mandatory to operate headlights if windscreen wipers are active/required. https://t.co/PAzf5VBLRa
@talkingwalk@Milliganreports Remember abuser's gravitated to organisations that gave them access to children, so they're not "organised abusers" per se.
What they did was cover up the abuse for reputation protection.
Refusing to accept responsibility today is purely profit protection!
@HenriMcAlister @stevens_carl The massive change I noticed when returning from EU was that there, everything was DAB and national broadcasters got a frequency allocation like 88-90Mhz. They used slices of it in whatever manner necessary to provide 100% error free cover across the nation, with auto switching
When I was born, rich Australians had about 16% of our economic wealth.
By contrast, my soon to arrive granddaughter will be born into a country where the rich have most of our economic wealth, and the Govt is helping them to take more.
Stop #stage3taxcuts#inequality
@DanielBleakley FYI, mining use of fuel is astonishingly high, certainly double digit percentage.
We can/could get cars off fuel, but the infrastructure is just not there for remote Australia and for primary industries
@GistPolitix @OurNewHomecoach GDP is a shocking measure of economic activity.
Fires, floods and wild weather that causes hundreds of billions in losses all adds to GDP.
If a company pollutes a river, and makes a bln in profit off a bln in sales, then it costs a bln in taxes to clean up. That's 3bn to GDP.
@OurNewHomecoach And in case the 368 is your focus. Just remember how big a billion dollars is.
A man standing on a street corner handing out $100 every second to anyone walking past would need over 100 years to hand out all of it.
