I think most people who see this see that this is tragic and that is an intuitively understood moral. But, the conclusions after that come from different places. I think it is worth asking if we assume this person doesn’t measure up to basic human dignity then does anyone really have something called “human dignity?”

@StatisticUrban Agreed. I just think It really says something about his value as a candidate that he is running in a state that is redder than georgia or maine against a serious opponent and not only are his chances excellent, no one is even concerned about it.
