Exactly why USAA continues to up their rates everywhere else and is losing business. I liked USAA a lot more before they started advertising on every channel all day long. Just saved over $3.5K on my auto insurance and almost $4K on my homeowners by leaving @USAA and I got better coverage.

You’re a public figure with a known net worth. Since the only complainant is Ronda and not even the one your Nephew said anything to, she made a calculated risk to extract money out of you.

Unless her lawyers are getting paid along the way they’ll quickly realize this is going to cost them more in billable hours to fight you then it’s worth. Assuming Ronda wants to fight it all the way and risk her own financial hardship, which she won’t.

I’d say fight it all the way, run up her legal costs as much as possible and never settle. Let it go to a jury if possible. No mediation. Jurors will see right through all of this. Then she’ll owe you your legal fees (hopefully).
