This past semester I have broadened my knowledge with technology and I feel much more confident about being able to use my skills in a classroom setting! #unietd@COE_UNI
In the last lecture of #unietd, I found that design is one of the biggest reasons students fail in the education system. I am hoping when I become a future educator, I can find design to fit the needs of my students individually. @COE_UNI
In #unietd, we got to play some Hour of Code Activities and I played the Grinch Hour of Code! This game was very fun and it is a great activity that I can incorporate my future students in! #hourofcode@COE_UNI
In my future classroom, I plan on using Computational Thinking so my students can learn how to communicate with other students and be able to recognize the 4 aspects of Computational Thinking in their learning. #unietd#lecture11
Lecture 10 taught me about the doโs and donโts of online communication when it comes to the classroom. It is extremely important that your students know that too, but never assume they know how to act appropriately online. #unietd
After watching Lecture 9, I want to incorporate the Global Read Aloud Project into my teaching to show my future students the different types of books worldwide and make global connections #unietd
After watching Lecture 8, I learned that just because it is a website, it does not mean it is creditable or true. You need to some research on the website before relying on it. #unitetd
In my future classroom, I am going to use both asynchronous and synchronous learning. I will make sure my students have worksheets and I will also provide them with a Zoom office hours for questions! #lecture7#unietd
Ocean. Sky. Sad. What color did you think of? Blue. These are some of the words you can probably think of when you are told to think about the color blue. Which one came to your mind first? Our brains tend to associate a word with a color that you have experienced #unietd
After watching Lecture 4: Copyright, Fair Use, and Creative Commons, I found out what Creative Commons does. It is a license that makes it convenient for others to share their work and itโs protected my copyright law. #unietd
After watching Lecture 3: Thinking Skills, I learned more about the Higher-Order Thinking and how you remember, understand, know, and apply your knowledge. #unietd
After watching Lecture #2 about Systematic Instructional Design and Universal Design for Learning, I thought that learning guidelines was very interesting. The engagement, representation, action and expression are the Why, What, and How of Learning in our brains. #unietd
