[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

@tarag1616 #allisci9 they have a hole winter season to fertilize

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

@Standring_Caleb #Allisci9 the grasshoppers are freeze tolerant so they physically cant freeze

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

@countrykidscows #allisci9 they are laid in the winter so the new generation is ready for the next spring and the old gen dies off

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

@wolfymatic #allisci9 by the time the eggs are laid rainy season is over then the snow will protect them They are also about 2' down under

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

@tarag1616 #allisci9 but insist that the peak of hunting season for predators? How do they survive those?

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

@wolfymatic #Allisci9 eggs are layed underground to survive the cold and let them grow full armour like exoskeleton that will protect them

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

#allisci9 the fact that the clearwing grasshopper can live almost anywhere in north america helps keep them spread out and thriving

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

#Allisci9 the fact that clearwing grassoppers lay over 175 eggs each mating season means that the species will dominate in some insect areas

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

#Allisci9 Clearwing grasshopers have the best camo/defence system out there most useful 1 is spitting tobacco juice to scare off predators

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

#AlliSci Check out the convo. today & over the past couple of days @StMarysSexsmith @Cmdr_Hadfield please join!!! :-D

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

@jaedynjohnson2 editable water bottles is a real thing and would be a easy solution but getting enough up there would be tricky #AlliSci

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

@B22ashley @ShawnGAllison Logically, yes. But if water is light so will be the other things letting water maintain its heavy weight #AlliSci

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

@wolfymatic Is the frost clean though, (not full of toxins)? Or would we have to find a way to purify it? #AlliSci

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

@SquadDogeChris What would we do when the Polar Ice Caps run out? #AlliSci

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

@ShawnGAllison Most likely not. The atmosphere is 95%CO2, 3%N2, 2%Ar, less that 1% O2. So the water would be too heavy. #AlliSci

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

@B22ashley We could, but we have huge layers of rock in between us and the moisture. To get them we would burn way to much gas.

[Brynna Nelson @BrynnaNelson]

Before we colonize anywhere outside earths atmosphere, they are going to set a "Home Base" hopefully on the moon. #AlliSci
