My son staring out the window looking at a Mini Cooper.
Me: “Isaac what are you looking at?”
Isaac: “I’m looking at the baby car. Why does somebody have that.”
Me: “I don’t know son. I don’t know.”
Challenge for all of my friends: If someone you know is having (or you even expect is having) a tough time emotionally or mentally, reach out to them. Take the time to call them, or buy them a coffee or lunch. You have no idea the positive impact you can have on them.
I remember a time when finding $5 on the ground was an exciting feeling, but now it’s just like “cool, guess I can get the combo with my fast food sandwich today.”
