@Arodanp Honestly chapters 2 and 3 are my favorite chapters. Chapter 2 is pretty significant considering it’s the first time we have lighteners in a dark world other than Kris and Susie. The character development during chapters 2 and 3 is also undeniably potent.
@_goldshott I think Kris looked up to Dess as a big sister figure, considering how Noelle was speaking about Dess in the Cyber World. That’s definitely the limit of their relationship though.
@Vampinvogue Yes, I’m definitely thinking the flowers will overtake him and force him to fight us. Specifically the flowers color coded to the human souls would be the ones controlling him. That might explain the toy knife attack we saw in the trailer.
@RubaBooba@_waiting_room Yeah, Deltarune is definitely more complicated story wise than undertale. I was reading through newsletters yesterday and Toby said it was way more challenging to work on Deltarune. There are way more subplots that’s for sure.
@gasterstruelove Something traumatic that Kris doesn’t want to confront, considering they were actively fighting against our control when we were going to enter it during the sword route in chapter 3.
@RubaBooba@_waiting_room True, but Kris is just satisfied that the player won’t be able to win, and that they’ll succeed in their plot with the knight. The knight could just obliterate us if it wanted to, the fact it lets us fight it is almost like it’s testing Kris.
@morkanslil_y It’s because Kris has undeniably been through some clear trauma too, so there’s really no difference between them and the patients in the hospital.
@MayaModez Likely Kris may become the other knight, and the soul will transfer to another party member (Susie). The chapter 4 prophecy said “love finds its way to the girl”. In further support of this theory, we also had the scene where Kris was knighted by the roaring knight in chapter 3.
