Friday was our STEM field trip to @castlefuncenter. After a lesson and a few experiments on Newton’s laws, the students got to skate! We’d say our field trip was a success!
🦐Crayfish are here! The students loved making new friends! Today they observed the features and behaviors of the crayfish. Some brave students even learned to pet them!

Yesterday we had a special visitor, Mr. Cantone from IBM! He tasked our students with a STEM challenge to use given materials and create tongs that can pick up various objects. Our engineers came up with some great designs!
Tomorrow is our 5th Grade Field Day from 1:30-2:45! 👟 Children have been sent home with a pickup form, which is also available on our ClassDojo. Please remember to wear your 5th grade t-shirt and bring a water bottle, sunscreen and a hat!
Last week our students had a book tasting! After discussing what a “good fit” book is, students had the opportunity to explore a variety of books before deciding which one they want to read. Bon appétit! 🍽📖
