Citi Institute just put a number on where this is going:

The tokenized asset market grows from about $17B today to $5.5 trillion by 2030.

Now this is the base case, not even a bull scenario, according to their numbers; that one hits $8.2 trillion.

The report names the institutions driving it: DTCC, NYSE, and Nasdaq.

The same DTCC that started production tokenization trades last month.
