Apa itu KMCA?
KMCA (Korea Music Content Association) adalah asosiasi resmi di Korea Selatan yang menaungi industri konten musik. Di dunia musik internasional, fungsi KMCA ini mirip dengan RIAA di Amerika Serikat atau RIAJ di Jepang.

KMCA bertanggung jawab mengoperasikan Circle Chart (yang dulu bernama Gaon Chart) grafik musik nasional resmi Korea Selatan.

Sejak 1 April 2018, KMCA meluncurkan sistem sertifikasi resmi untuk memberikan penghargaan kepada album atau lagu yang mencapai angka penjualan fantastis.

•Sertifikasi Album: Diberikan mulai dari Platinum (250.000 kopi) hingga Million (1 juta kopi), serta kelipatannya (2x Million, 3x Million, dst.).
•Syarat Mutlak: Hanya album yang rilis setelah 1 Januari 2018 yang bisa didata dan diberi sertifikasi oleh KMCA.

Group K-Pop yang memiliki jumlah album bersertifikasi KMCA terbanyak.
