Yr 10s showcased excellent skills jointing a chicken! An economical way to get the most out of the bird. The drums, thighs and wings were used in a marinated chicken tray bake. Breasts were frozen and will be used to make Chicken Kyiv in a few weeks. #FoodEdToday@bthcc_college

Year 10 have been learning how to make fresh pasta from scratch and used it to make some beautiful Carbonara. Some students used chorizo instead of bacon which gave the pasta a wonderful orange tone. #FooodEdToday@bthcc_college
Year 10s have been learning about 'Food Styling' with a 'Pimp my Egg' challenge. Each student had 2 eggs, 2 slices of bread (they could bring some extra ingredients if they wished. They had 20 minutes to create a Michelin Star worthy plate of Food! @bthcc_college#FoodEdToday
