@susanholt@shawnrouse @DavidCCoon Sorry Susan you did that by jumping on the bash the Feds bandwagon. Not helpful. Many are fine with paying the 3.6% that comes with an Increased rebate. I know I am
@shawnrouse@susanholt @DavidCCoon Right, bc a pause on home heating levy was so politically helpful and inspired gratitude and lower costs? Please get real. 3.6 % is nothing and will disappear into HiggsIrving pockets anyway. But they can't touch the rebate at least which... also gets paused
Alberta's 4% times to increase the 'bash the Feds' potential is Exactly what Higgs is about to do in NB (again). It's a coordinated effort by these Con premiers to screw citizens while bashing Feds and channeling money to big polluters like Irving. It's truly sickening
@MyersHampton @fvandenburg If you mean that then stop jumping on the 'bash the Feds' bandwagon which puts you straight into bed with this group of ghoulish Con premiers, but wont get you Con converts as you clearly hope. You should be showing how you're different, defend rebates etc., not more of the same
@MyersHampton A lifelong liberal supporter, you lot have lost me with this bs. Focusing on 3.6% that is part of an overall plan AND comes with rebates while much much larger percentage in accumulated PROVINCIAL taxes are the real problem just let's Higgs off the hook. Pandering to Con voters
‘Also, unlike a number of New Brunswick industrial operations that are exempt from paying provincial property taxes for being "important to economic development," N.B. Power facilities are charged in full.’ 😡

@susanholt@shawnrouse @GBuck976 @DavidCCoon Well its unfortunate then that all that seemed to get through for some reason is jumping on the 'bash the Feds' wagon last week. I guess you needed to amplify the earlier call as last week's is all anyone I have talked to heard. Me included, and I have been listening
@susanholt@shawnrouse @GBuck976 @DavidCCoon This seems disengenuous now. That's not what you said last week. If that really is your focus then call for Higgs to axe his 18% share of tax rather the 3.6% coming that is the source of rebates we just started getting.
This is rich, given the history of the SK premier
It's like Doug Ford mandating every speeding check generate a search warrant for hash and crack! checkhttps://thestarphoenix.com/news/saskatchewan/rcmp-set-to-begin-mandatory-breathalyzers-for-drivers-pulled-over-in-saskatchewan
I hope folks find this helpful, and that y'all start asking questions about where the Higgs tax goes, why he makes revenue off a tax he says he wants to axe, and why he hasn't adjusted the 18% of tax rates he controls if he's really concerned about NBers. Thanks! 10/10
To recap, the 15% HST charged on fuel is actually the "biggest" tax, but not because it's last. The Higgs adjuster tax comes in at 8% and the federal tax, which generates so much energy from Doug and the PCs is 3.26%, roughly 1/4 of HST or less than half of the Higgs tax. 8/
@susanholt That's a laugh. You should stop doing this
I'm still waiting for you to answer my Q from the last time you did. You only answered softball questions
Otherwise
Crickets from you even to a follow up
We need better than you to vote that Higgs ghoul out
@DewaltJackson@SarahIronside6 Geez dude try to keep up - that's the argument of racists everywhere since anthropologists et al proved biological race has no bearing on ability or capacity, in fact race is useless as a category beyond the most superficial of differences. Get new material. Better:sit down &STFU
Canada Carbon Rebate amounts are going up in April. That’s more money back in your pocket, automatically paid out to you four times a year.
But Conservative politicians won’t tell you that.
