@P_knui Such a shame, are you thai people saying you know our country Myanmar better than we do? so funny. Burmese means all citizens in Myanmar In english langauge. English: shan is burmese. Myanmar: Myanmar people shan ethnicity. Thai: calling Shan to "bamar" is wrong so we dont like.

I know in thai use "bamar" to all people in myanmar BUT NO! that is wrong! even in myanmar, we just call each other ethnicity by names like shan, mon. But in english, we use "burmese" which means MMR

ขอพูดหน่อยในฐานะคนไทยล้านนา คือฉันงงมากว่าตกลงฉันอยู่ในวัฒนธรรมไหน? ฉันเป็นคนไทยแต่ก็เป็นคนล้านนาด้วยเช่นกัน ฉันเติบโตมากับชุดล้านนา ภาษาถิ่นล้านนาแต่ฉันก็พูดภาษาไทยด้วย ฉันใส่ชุดผ้าซิ่นอะไรแบบนี้มาตั้งแต่เด็กๆซึ่งไม่ได้มีแค่ชุดรูปแบบเดียวเรายังมีอีกหลากหลายชุดที่ชาวล้านนานิยมใส่กัน (ในรูปคือฉันจริงๆ) ฉันเคยเรียนฟ้อนผางฟ้อนเทียนกับอาจารย์สอนรำล้านนามาตั้งแต่เด็กๆ ฉันมีอาหารล้านนาหรือเรียกว่ากับข้าวเมียงเป็นของตัวเองบางทีก็กินบนขันโตก ฉันมีภาษาล้านนาซึ่งมีอักขระภาษาเป็นของตัวเองมาหลายร้อยปีแม้ปัจจุบันจะไม่มีใครรู้จักแล้วก็ตาม ฉันมีวัฒนธรรมล้านนาที่แต่ก่อนเป็นอาณาจักรที่อยู่มาหลายร้อยปีโดยไม่ได้ขึ้นตรงต่อสยามหรือเรียกว่าไทยในตอนนี้ ฉันเติบโตมากับวัฒนธรรมร่วมเหล่านี้มาตั้งแต่รุ่นปู่ย่าตายายจนถึงรุ่นลูกหลานฉันและฉันก็ภูมิใจในความเป็นคนล้านนาของฉัน

การมีวัฒนธรรมร่วมกันคือสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นในภูมิภาคนี้ แต่ถ้าสิ่งไหนที่เป็นวัฒนธรรมของพม่าชัดเจนเราก็ให้เครดิตเสมอเช่นแกงฮังเลของโปรดฉันที่กินมาตั้งแต่เด็กๆตอนแรกคิดว่าเป็นอาหารพื้นเมืองของเราแต่แม่ฉันก็บอกว่ามันคืออาหารที่มีที่มาจากพม่าฉันก็ยอมรับ ชุดไหนชัดเจนว่าเป็นของพม่าเราก็ไม่เคยเคลมเพราะชุดพม่าก็มีความสวยงามมีเอกลักษณ์ของตัวเองชัดเจนและเราก็มีชุดล้านนาของเราเอง

หากสิ่งไหนที่ควรให้เครดิตชัดเจนก็ควรจะให้ แต่ถ้าสิ่งไหนเป็นวัฒนธรรมร่วมก็อยากให้เข้าใจว่าประเทศไทยไม่ได้มีวัฒนธรรมไทยภาคกลางอย่างเดียว เรายังมีไทยล้านนา ไทยใหญ่ ไทยลื้อ ไทยญวน ไทยอีสาน และไทยใต้ที่มีวัฒนธรรมของตัวเองอีกหลายหลาย นี่คือในมุมมองของคนไทยล้านนาคนนึงที่เคารพในทุกวัฒนธรรมของทุกคนค่ะ

@mesapapern dont you understand, ughh? Burmese is the term for all people in Myanmar. My dear, why are you being a dummy. We call shan, mon, and more as ''burmese" which means Myanmar Citizens. But ofc we would hate if you keep calling "bamar" to all citizens in Myanmar, same in my language
