@ambernoelle My mom used to get these microwavable chocolate lava cakes from the grocery store when I was a kid and she'd let me have a bite here and there while she watched days of our lives and I've been searching ever since
@seb8165@litbrit@CatholicVote Lgbt representing books are not pornographic. I doubt you've read any lgbt positive book all the way thru. You probably flipped to a random page, read something out of context and labeled it perverted. Grow up
@EerfEvil@litbrit@CatholicVote Sexual trauma is something that some kids deal with unfortunately and representation is important. Older teens who have struggled similarly can feel seen and heard by The Bluest Eye. These stories are important and shouldn't be censored because they make YOU uncomfortable
@CatholicVote As someone who works in a library, none of these books are "graphic" and if you don't want your kids reading them, then dont check them out? You can't make that decision for other people's kids. Representation is important whether u agree with it or not. Support libraries
We managed to fill our final remaining art space for Issue 11. We’re (unofficially) opened for Issue 12 submissions (Twitter, you’re hearing about it first!)
So this is your sign to get those submissions in ASAP to avoid disappointment! ✨
You don't have to submit on Aug 1st, but you can if you want to. We reopen for subs on Tues, so if you've missed us throughout July, just know that we've missed you, too!
We pay. We always have the free sub option. We call that a win-win.

We’ve reviewed your amazing submissions for almost 5 years. Along the way we’ve spotted errors that are commonly made when submitting.
Wanna share your work with us? Use this guide to help prepare.
We’re here to support y’all.
Submit by July 25th for Issue 11!
