Pope Leo XIV strongly condemned abortion and euthanasia in an address to the socialist-dominated Spanish Parliament on Monday.

Pope Leo’s trip to Spain is the first papal visit to the country in 15 years. While Catholicism is still the dominant religion in Spain, the country has become increasingly secularized, a push that continues under the left-wing ruling party — a party that has legalized assisted suicide and abortion.

Pope Leo told Spanish lawmakers that “every truly just society is built upon the recognition of the inviolable dignity of the human person,” and that “[s]uch dignity precedes any concession by the State and cannot be subordinated to shifting social consensus or the whims of the majority at any given moment.”

“It belongs to every human being by the very fact of their existence, and for this reason, it must guide every positive legal system,” he said. “The Christian faith proclaims it on the basis of Revelation; human reason can recognize it as a requirement inscribed in the truth of man. When this conviction remains alive, the law becomes a safeguard for all and a guarantee against the imposition of particular interests and agendas.”

“Every human life must be recognized and safeguarded from conception to its natural end, in every circumstance of its existence. When this certainty is obscured, the most vulnerable are the first victims, and the law loses its deepest meaning: to serve and protect every person,” he said. “For this reason, the moral greatness of a nation is manifested, above all, in its capacity to accompany, protect and love those lives that are most fragile.”

After his speech, with spanned a variety of other subjects, including migration and AI, Spanish Parliament gave Pope Leo a standing ovation that appeared to have lasted up to seven minutes.

I just got off of the phone with a Republican voter and resident of the west end.

She called me because she and others attended a west end community meeting. Our city controller Rachel Heisler was the first speaker.

Rachel, who is known for her transparency, in which many Republican voters have publicly applauded her for, took the time to bash the President of the United States at this meeting. She blamed him and the federal government for many of the Pittsburgh issues as far as housing and high taxes.

This further proves that these democratic politicians live in an echo chamber. She had no problem being so vocal in front of what she thought was a room full of democrats.

🚨 American worked at a hospital as an ER Nurse during COVID in 2020

She says the hospital would swab everyone who walked through the door, and it wasn’t because of Covid. It’s because they were getting an extra 20% kickback from the government

“Congress passed the CARES Act. Section 3710 of this CARES Act states that every Medicare patient that was diagnosed with COVID paid the hospital 20% more than the same admission would have if they didn't have that COVID diagnosis.

— We were swabbing everyone in the hospital — Everyone that gets admitted to the hospital had to have a COVID swab — If a person came in with a broken hip, they were testing them for COVID to see if they would need to go on a COVID side of the hospital, but they were also getting 20% more”

I looked into this and it’s 100% correct, it did not have to be why the patient walked through the door, it just had to be a positive test

This 20% reimbursement pay increase applied to both principal and secondary diagnoses. Meaning a patient admitted for a broken hip who also tested positive for COVID would qualify for the higher payment on the entire stay

St. Joseph Center, Venice drop-in center, 185 registered voters at its address, offers no beds or accommodations whatsoever.

Hundreds more tied to supportive/affordable housing projects, with nearly 200 added in the final weeks before the registration deadline.

Over 80 voters registered at four behavioral health/addiction facilities, Corner of Hope, Volunteers of America Alcohol Services, LA Centers for Alcohol & Drug Abuse, Homeless Health Care LA Harm Reduction Center.

313 voters tied to LA County social services facilities. Voter registration drives witnessed outside grocery stores, one homeless man, Norman, claimed he was paid to sign people up and saw cigarettes offered as incentives during "big push" efforts.

One registered voter, Bo Jackson, near Midnight Mission couldn’t remember registering and couldn’t name a single candidate in the LA mayor’s race.

The story ties directly into the heated LA mayor's race and major concerns over California's election integrity with clear ties to fraud.
