Also new to the build is the newer Viper HD. I much prefer the locking elevation and capped windage turrets for hunting so I upgraded from the PST gen 2.

Ultimately soon this optic will go back on the heavy upper and I’ll put a NF NX8 2.5-20x on the hunting upper.

Now just waiting on the Proof PXT 20” 6.5CM barrel to be back in stock and then I’ll finally have my lighter, shorter hunting upper squared away 😎

The other 22” criterion barrel is amazing but she’s a heavy cumbersome bitch inna woods.

@LiberteaTree Both, here’s the thing I don’t need to stack thousands of rounds of 300blk because its use case is limited and is not my primary weapon (5.56 AR15) so I have a few hundred of very expensive good 300blk but I don’t intend it as my primary.
