@This_Guy6969@MattSchirm_CAA No way, RH hitter, 1b holding, 2b pinching middle to help hold lead runner, entire right side of infield is open. 1B can play behind runner and if he gets too far off you can throw behind with a pickoff play. Never hold trail runner!
@Altephor@JeffStanek1 Clearly it does or you wouldn’t be so upset. Maybe the verse shared hits too close home - I struggle to think you’re simply upset by a “rules violation”
@jemelehill Maybe he chose “then” to take a stand. You’re right, God loves us all, and we’re all sinners. But that doesn’t tell us to keep living a life of sin, or to supppot sin.
@DrDinD@SFGiants@GrantBrisbee So one side can stand for - or have their beliefs shoved upon others, but when someone uses a Bible verse as a counter argument, that’s not proper? If it was “faith month” and MLB had guys where faith hats, and someone declined, would you feel the same? I think I know your answer
@ellettaylor2021@JonnyRoot_@TheAthletic We aren’t to judge, but we are called to identify right from wrong. If you’re going rob a bank and I tell you that’s wrong, am I judging you?
🚨 This is how America loses religious freedom.
When the Chicago Bulls waive Jaden Ivey for quoting the Bible and preaching Jesus Christ — labeling it “conduct detrimental to the team” and saying he didn’t live up to “organizational standards” — we see the playbook in action.
Ivey went on Instagram Live reading Scripture, calling sin what the Bible calls sin, and pointing out that the NBA proudly celebrates Pride Month as “unrighteousness.”
For simply speaking biblical truth, they cut him after just a handful of games.
The left’s new rule: Christianity = Hate Speech if we don’t like it.
“Hate speech” now means anything the left doesn’t like. Just because truth is spoken doesn’t make it hateful. Quoting the Bible isn’t bigotry — it’s faith.
But to the Chicago Bulls and the woke NBA machine, the Gospel itself is now “detrimental.” You can promote Pride, kneel for causes, and stay silent on Scripture… but open the Bible and preach repentance in Jesus? You’re gone.
This is exactly how a country loses religious freedom: redefine truth as “hate,” punish believers for living it, and silence the Church one athlete, one employee, one voice at a time.
The American Church better wake up. The left wants to label our Bible hate speech in this country. They’re already doing it in pro sports.
Jaden Ivey was fired for quoting Scripture — the same Word that built Western civilization and guarantees our freedoms.
If we don’t push back now, tomorrow it won’t just be NBA players. It’ll be pastors, teachers, parents, and you.
Stand with Jaden Ivey. Preach Jesus anyway. Religious liberty is on the line.
Share if you believe truth isn’t hate and the Bible isn’t bigotry.

@staticbarrel@zach_seyko He didn’t have a chance to recruit with the late hire, that wasn’t his fault. No one….not even you….could have predicted what Cignetti has done, with less resources and brand. I’ll let the results speak. Maybe you’ll be right, but you can’t honestly say you know!
@staticbarrel@zach_seyko Not year one, we will see. Campbell has resources now that he’s never had. He can’t make guys stay, but he can get guys there that buy in. Similar blueprint of Indiana. I don’t pretend to know more than Coach Campbell, so I’ll be in his corner. At least we aren’t Pitt fans!
@staticbarrel@zach_seyko The talent didn’t equal success. I’m not convinced it’s a downgrade, and I haven’t heard a single kid say they were forced out. Maybe that’ll come out. I think the bigger issue is advice the kids are getting, some of which is probably “he prefers his guys”
@staticbarrel@zach_seyko Agree on last years team. Not convinced all of these guys wanted to stay. And they aren’t running to VT, while the ISU kids are running to PSU. I think that speaks volumes. Maybe I’m wrong on the kids leaving, but I’d need to see evidence of that.
