We are having an incredibly busy start to our summer with #HAF2025 well under way for us. So far, we have had over 200 people visit.

Our final activity session of the year. This draws our #HAF2024 delivery to a close. Funding should be announced in the new year for Easter, summer, and Christmas 2025. We're looking forward to providing again for the children of #Bradford

Earlier this week we were helping colleagues in the energy team by delivering e-Cargo bikes to Cliffe Castle and City Hall.

We have also been underground in the western Dales carrying out a cave leader assessment. Flooding, geology and ropework are key aspects of the day.

We have been above and below ground, in the Yorkshire Dales and Snowdonia. We have been looking at safeguarding individuals using a rope, geology, weather and hydrology, and the impact on the underground environment. All important aspects of ensuring we are on the top of our game

Continued professional development, or CPD as it’s more widely known, is crucial in any role. Over the last few days and despite the wild weather from #StormBert we have been undertaking training to ensure we keep current with good industry practice and standards.

We're in for a busy summer. We have lots of day visits and residentials working with children & adults from all over the #Bradford district. Today was our first #HAF programme funded day. We had a fantastic group of children from Beckfoot Phoenix school. They were super stars!

This weekend we were supporting one of @bradfordmdc youth groups providing a residential. A brilliant effort despite the cold conditions. Saturday was gill scrambling and our local walk and Sunday involved climbing onsite. The team even managed some sleep during the w/kend too 😴

We ended the day with a grand total of 10cm! Onsite activities this morning and a tour of a hidden gem - Buckden Beck and waterfall - this afternoon. Super effort by all the children given the conditions. #resilience and #perseverance

After yesterday's wind and rain, today's sunshine is a welcome change. It's not going to last long as snow is inbound.
The chd from @MiriamLordPAT have done really well today. 2 full activities ticked off with more to come tomorrow.
