Hello! My name is Lyndsay. I am a Psychology major with a minor in Education. This is my last year in this bachelor so I am very excited to learn as much as I can with the little time I have left! My hobbies include reading and writing. Have a great semester everyone!😀

I don't think its an invasion because it is school property. There is always the option to use private data in order to access sites/apps, so they aren't left without an option. Schools monitor everything we do anyway for safety reasons, so this isn't different to me...

I think that's a great strategy! It's definitely important to discuss what it is so that the students are aware of how to manage it

It would be great for teachers to include the digital code in their curriculums today. This is a very important topic and relevant with all the advances we have made with technology. #lesson13

#lesson13 I never realized how uneducated I was about the online world. I think educating students at a younger age will increase appropriate use of technology and will benefit teachers & students in the future. this way, technology can be successfully integrated in classrooms

I think this is of course best taught at a young age so that the children do not grow up with a homogenous view of the world

#Lesson13 I think the best way to spread information about the online code is to incorporate in it in the classroom as soon as students start utilizing technology.

As we may start teaching them about specific programs, the digital should be taught right away in order to give guidance to the new users.

top-down communication can also be dangerous if a company is trying to control their image because sometimes negative comments are deleted and you will not know other customers' experiences #lesson12

In the Information Age, it is important to teach children to actively engage with the topics they are interested in, share their own opinions and perspectives, instead of passively transmitting other people's opinion. #Lesson12

Social media has allowed us to communicate on a global scale and share our daily experiences through videos and pictures. We are now able to show someone halfway across the world from us what we are going through within a split second.
