Former Churchill Show comedian Mtumishi has narrated how he paid for his wife’s university education, only for her to leave him after securing a well-paying job.

Mtumishi said that when they met, his wife only had a high school certificate. He enrolled her at Kabarak University, paying her tuition fees and rent. After she graduated, he used his networks to help her secure a job at an international organisation, where she earned KSh80,000 per month.

However, as his wife’s career flourished, Mtumishi began struggling financially. He said that when she realised he was broke, she told him she would not support a man and left him. She later got married to another man.

Mtumishi says he continued struggling until this year, when Oga Obinna offered him a job at Obinna Studios.
