Siddhartha Gautama

There are 4 noble truths: Life is suffering. Suffering is caused by desire. To end Suffering we must end desire. To end desire we must follow the 8 Fold Path.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@DonaldTrumpBRCI true success can not be "showed" as it comes from inner growth and understanding, not external factors.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@DonaldTrumpBRCI money is not success, it is material gained from exploitation of other. We need to move focus from competitive materialism.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@CheGuevaraBRCI it is because the real world is harsh that we need to focus on the internal.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@CheGuevaraBRCI I preach no religion. Buddhism is a philosophy.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@DonaldTrumpBRCI "MONEYMONEYMONEYMONEY.... MOOOOOONEY!" is greed. You also insinuate that those with less don't work hard.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@setBRCI @ApophisApepBRCI hate leads to suffering, which leads to the DARK SIDE... wait, that's Yoda...

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

#twittersummitbrci to show compassion, and interconnected nature of the universe. Also to focus less on the material, and more on spiritual

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@CheGuevaraBRCI we must focus on within, not without.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@CheGuevaraBRCI but this is not what you indicated when speaking of your struggle. Besides, this world is illusion.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@DonaldTrumpBRCI by seeing one as other we can not act in a compassionate fashion. You preach greed and attachment, I call for renunciation.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@CheGuevaraBRCI the word "fight" would indicate the ignobility. As long as there is "nation" there will be "fight". End one, end both.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@DonaldTrumpBRCI it is the burden of the rich to understand that they are no different than the poor, and should thus show compassion...

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@AristotleBRCI the most important thing is to end conflict. To end conflict, we must end desire, which is the cause of ALL conflict.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@CheGuevaraBRCI glory is fleeting, and causes dukkah (suffering) when it goes away. It is better to pursue a more noble path.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@AlexanderBRCI ...ummm you actually succumbed to your wounds and died... and were no doubt reborn as you had much negative karma...

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@AlexanderBRCI the pursuit of glory shows your dissatisfaction with your existence, which is caused by your desire.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@AlexanderBRCI When you reached India you still were not happy, You of all people should understand the suffering pusuit of victory brings!

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@AlexanderBRCI Think of how much suffering you caused yourself and others in the pursuit of empire.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@CheGuevaraBRCI we have close ideas regarding compassion and oppresion, but your focus remains on this world, where I focus on release.

[Siddhartha Gautama @Buddha_BRCI]

@CheGuevaraBRCI the failure to acheive your goal casues suffering, the succes causes momentary bliss, then anxiety of loss. Suffering.
