Just over a year and a half ago I made the choice to change careers, got word last weekend that I was receiving a promotion, which had been my goal from day 1. Tenacity and perseverance have paid off and I am beyond grateful.
It may have been 5 months late, looked different and I already had my diploma but yesterday I was able to walk in my graduation ceremony which was my mom's greatest wish to see. I felt her with me. #honoringmom
The bonus to riding the motorcycle to work and around is that there is no unnecessary background noise from the radio, just me and my thoughts. Great way to re-center myself and quiet the negativity from external sources.
No parents or sibling should have to say goodbye to to their 21yo son/brother over the internet and yet that is exactly what a friend of mine just did yesterday. No way to have one final hug before he took his last breath. This hit home for me. This virus is serious. Be safe
@govkristinoem@SDDOH Please do your civic duty and actually take responsibility and lead by shutting down the recreational businesses to protect the health and wellbeing of the citizens of South Dakota
@govkristinoem@SDDOH This is irresponsible on your part. Shirking your duty and passing the buck to those below with less authority is unconscionable. What good does it do if Rapid City votes to close recreational businesses if the other surrounding cities do not also. It becomes a moot point.
I've been practicing social distancing for the last 18 months while I'm getting my master's. I've got this down to a science at this point. Stay healthy friends.
For the first time in 12 years I do not have access to my work email on my phone or at home and it's actually making me a little crazy. What does that say about how connected I was and where my focus was? #unplugged#familytime#twitchingalittle
Final look before I shut the door tonight. It's been an amazing 12 years and although I won't be in this office anymore I will always be a Hardrocker in my ❤. My next chapter begins Monday morning and I embrace it with open arms.
They make it hard to leave but I'll be in the stands cheering them on as a crazy fan. Thank you for being amazing young women @HardrockerVb ❤ I will miss working with you!
Your #1 responsibility today is to believe in yourself. When you do that, you don't have to prove yourself to others, you own your authentic voice, and you honor your boundaries. That sounds like a great day! ☀️
When your husband tells you we're out of coffee and you go to scavenge mode and hit the travel bag and hit the jackpot. Everyone is now safe, I have my coffee. #daysaved#coffeeholic
