Anecdotally, I think Greggs is propped up by the needs of tradesmen and the military.
@Gordon88177212@Finumus1 Misunderstood what I said. Higher skilled work should be paid more, not lower skilled work should be paid less.
I don’t deny there can be skill, but the barriers to entry are still low, and it is considered unskilled work.

I wonder what the salary of the mechanic that maintains those buses is. I imagine it doesn’t exceed the driver’s salary.

@GeringerAdam You can’t boil it down to solely the sugar content. It is the combination of ingredients.
Again, eating raw sugar would be far more an accessible and cheaper than other options, so why don’t people do it if it is only the sugar that they crave?
