@DrGaryKirkilas@WSJ@WSJopinion if an ad is not intended for a child and they see it…. Welcome to the world. Lets demand parents actually parent. Communicate with your kids. We have age limits to prevent children from accessing what you call “unhealthy” products. It’s a big leap from Santa to targeting kids.
@DrGaryKirkilas@WSJ@WSJopinion We are not, fully. Kids are drawn to bright colors, (yellows, pinks, green) so those shouldn’t be used in advertisements? And who said cannabis is unhealthy for adults? If an ad is created wu the the intent of marketing to kids, that is not good. (Our Santa ad was not). But….
@DrGaryKirkilas@WSJ@WSJopinion Children are also drawn to bunny rabbits, tigers and leprechauns. Sugary cereals and candy are products they can actually purchase today. Shouldn’t we address those dangers first?
From @WSJopinion: Like the alcohol and tobacco industries, the cannabis industry sees children as potential lifelong customers. Those innocent children need our protection, writes @DrGaryKirkilas. https://t.co/aWGFREAgr5
